Comments: | Hello, I'm just learning about the Devon breed, your cattle apear to be moderate frame, and easy keeping. Am I correct to think maybe more thickness than most red angus?I raise mostly red angus but with a influx of Red Poll , and limosine, I am working for a herd of cows that can hold their condition and not need alot of inputs. I have been using some Pharo genicts and they have really helped But I'd like to keep some hybrid vigor, and the dark red color. I may not be ready for a Bull this spring, But possibly a Red Angus x Devon. would be in the plans for next year. can we stay in touch and see how calving goes for you, Don't get real fast with the knife on a potential cross bred bull calf. Thanks |
